Being a part of the newspaper team is no strange work to me. I still remember the time before Latvia regained its independence and before the restoration of the Methodist Church when I served in the Lutheran Church. Then I took an active part in the creation of the newspaper "Christian". Today everything is modern but at that time I was printing copies of newspapers on a typewriter. I regularly sat for long nights to typewrite the required number in a month.

I agreed to participate in the production of the newspaper after prayers for two weeks until I received sufficient and clear confirmation to get involved.

When I heard that the newspaper team was forming I knew that not only did I want to be a part of this ministry, but I really believe that humanity today needs vital, advanced Christian educational literature to help people build a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and through that find true happiness and the meaning of life!

But my mission is to get to know God better with you, the readers of our newspaper. I have found a lot of valuable pearls and I want to share them. That's why I've joined the newspaper's creative team.

I am excited about the mission of making the newspaper. The newspaper has its own tangible value through which to bring the word of God to the people. I remember myself always asking my grandmother for a "Christian Advocate" to feed myself at a time when the church was unattainable. So I am grateful and happy to be part of the newspaper team.
