dirt road, forest, spring

A page of God’s miracle!

Hey little miracle of God! How are you? Have you noticed that the evenings and mornings are lighter outside, that the birds sing louder than in winter? Have you noticed that the sun is shining more often than in winter? Spring is really coming outside and that means a special celebration is coming too – Easter! This time it’s about what Easter is all about – and it’s not about bunnies and eggs!

Bring your pencils or felt-tip pens! A white sheet!

You know what a rainbow looks like, don’t you? So draw a rainbow line with each colour, this time it won’t be a simple rainbow, but a special one with different colours.

Violet – Jesus is Lord of Lords and King of Kings! He is fully God, who rules over everything!

Orange – Jesus was fully human,

Red – Jesus is the Savior! Jesus’ blood on the cross brings forgiveness for our sins.

Black – Jesus conquers the darkness of sin.

Brown – Without God, human life is bleak and empty.

Green – Jesus gives new life, eternal life.

Blue – Jesus is always with you by the presence of the Holy Spirit.

Yellow – Jesus is the Light of the world.

Did the interesting and special rainbow work? The rainbow in the sky always reminds us of God’s promise to be with us Always! Read the story of the NOAH (Genesis 6:8- 9:28) for yourself or ask someone great to read it and you will learn why the rainbow is so special. But today your rainbow shows you how much God loves you – “For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life” John 3:16

Your task: plant an onion!  You will need:

the bottom part of a milk parcel, black earth and an onion, water for sprinkling.

Colour or otherwise decorate the future bulb-growing container. If you can, stick on the new rainbow you drew. Rub the black earth into the new container and put the bulb in it, water it.   Good job, done.

Jesus changes our lives, the bottom of the milk carton became a new “flowerpot.” Jesus fills our lives – symbolically you filled the “flowerpot” with black earth. Jesus gives eternal life to our lives – watch the new bulb grow day by day. Jesus washed away our sins with His blood on the Cross – don’t forget to wipe the bulb!

Dear God, I thank you for your Son Jesus. I thank You for sending Jesus and for dying on the cross for my sins. Thank you that He rose from the dead and through His death my sins are forgiven. Amen

Before going to bed, several nights in a row, you or an adult read the whole Easter story in the Bible from John 19:28 to 20:10.
