NESAM DIEVA GAISMU PASAULĒ
NESAM DIEVA GAISMU PASAULĒ
You will not win until the thoughts of the problem have taken over your life.
The last month has been the hardest for me mentally. I have prayed to my despair and I have not wanted to listen to God. Until once I was exhausted I cried out to GOD! I shout that I can’t like that longer, I feel swallowed alive and exhausted. And Heavenly Father gave me (several times) an answer I had missed or didn’t want to understand. And this answer sounded like this: you will not win until the problem obscures everything in your life and takes away your life.
God opened my eyes and helped me accept the fact that I thought of the problem from the moment I woke up in the morning to the moment I went to sleep. And even waking up at night that is my first thought. Although I stood up, I thought more about the problems than about the Biblical promises I stood for.
And then while studying the Bible, this scripture constantly reminded me of myself, it came to me again and again:
“No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money. “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Matthew 6:24-25 NIV
Notice that Jesus said, “No one can serve two masters.” He said, “Don’t get lost and don’t think about the problem all the time.” He talked about us serving our thoughts!
We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:5 NIV
We must call every thought that brings us closer to the abyss. We must submit our thoughts to the Word of God. But this is only possible if we read God’s Word.
My freedom came when I realized that I would not notice a change in circumstances until I changed my mind. I understand that this is not easy to do, especially in the midst of a severe test and darkness.
Here’s what I do and what helps me change my situation:
Even if it seems impossible- remember, God will not tell you to do what you cannot do. You don’t have to do it alone. You have the Word of God (His thoughts). You have the Holy Spirit to strengthen and guide you, just listen! Think and change what you say. Constantly speak the Word of God. Remember that faith comes from hearing and hearing from preaching the Word of God. (Romans 10:17). Don’t defend yourself, but attack! Attack the evil spirit who is trying to control your thoughts. Shout at him as loudly as possible. You need it for yourself – to shout so you can finally hear yourself! Be stable. Don’t let your mind turn away. Don’t put your mind to other things just to “get out of the situation.” Remember that your weapons of warfare are not carnal, but mighty in God, to break down strong holds. (2 Corinthians 10: 4). That’s what you have to do – fortresses – destroy them! Reach out to other people who are filled with faith. Go to worship services, Bible lessons, seminars where the Word of God is preached. Don’t talk about your problem over and over again. Let talk to others. Praise God. Take a look:
I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High. My enemies turn back; they stumble and perish before you. For you have upheld my right and my cause, sitting enthroned as the righteous judge. Psalm 9:2-4 NIV.
This is why it seems so difficult to praise God at first – the devil knows that if you do, he will be forced to turn back and step back.
Finally, I want to remind you – Jesus wants you to be free. Your freedom has already been redeemed with His precious blood. Do not give up because Jesus did not give up for you! Start taking new steps in your life right now. Because just acting (it will not be enough once or in a day) everything will start to change. God’s promise will be your victory! You will no longer be a slave to your thoughts and mind! Accept the promises God gives you! Don’t give in to your thoughts that steal your life!
