Light of Truth

“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”

Matthew 7:24-27 NIV

There is no more enduring foundation than Jesus Christ.

For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 3:11 NIV

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

Colossians 2:6-7 NIV

After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed:

“Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you. For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him. Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

John 17:1-3 NIV

Then hear, because there is no one more deafer than one who does not listen.. It is a great Blessing to be in fellowship with the Father through Jesus Christ. We, through Jesus Christ on the cross, there at Calvary, we can receive forgiveness of sins and to inherit eternal life in His Kingdom. But we must accept this death first. It is easy to accept happy events (we recently celebrated the birthday of Jesus Christ, the day of the star), but for others this child is not growing, it is easier for others to accept everything but not  this event. The truth is cannot accept only the favorite part of the event and push the other part (death) aside or ignore it. Such a foundation is an incomplete foundation and sooner or later loses its value and collapses. Therefore, just accepting this event as he is- without beautifying or discarding anything, the truth becomes complete and has a solid foundation. God has given us a foundation that will never fail – Jesus Christ. The moment a person confesses Jesus Christ, he is made an heir to heaven. God’s plan is complete, one that has no shortcomings.

But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

John 14:26 NIV

But the Spirit gradually transforms us into the image of Jesus Christ.  The same Spirit who raised Jesus Christ from the dead, already dwells in our bodies. We must be like Him in order to see Him as He is.

You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.

2 Corinthians 3:3 NIV

Let’s pray:

Thank You Heavenly Father, that reminds me of the solid foundations in my life and their importance. Please help me bring that good news and ignite me for every single service you give.- In the Name of Jesus, Amen!
