Light of Truth

He predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will-to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace.. Ephesians 1: 5-7

Jesus writes with His blood, but the devil draws with a pencil. 

Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the LORD, who has compassion on you. Isaiah 54:10

Sometimes in our lives we face some challenges, problems and events that seem unsolvable. And often these situations are drawn to us by the devil. We look at the situation and everything seems so convincingly bad. Then we throw ourselves in and try our best to find a solution, despair overwhelms us and things start to look even worse. Don’t believe it! The devil is a liar-… the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. John 8:44

The visible is temporal, the invisible is eternal! God has not spared His own Son to give you, just you, the best of all that He has! What is drawn in pencil is easy to erase. But the truth that Jesus signed with His blood at Calvary- nothing will ever win! If you believe more in what God says than the conditions that the devil draws with a pencil, you will see the greatness of God! 

Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?” John 11:40

Let’s pray:

Father, I recognize that the challenges, problems and uncertainties have reached a critical point in my life. I am sorry that for so long I have tried to deal with everything in my own wisdom. I am on my knees in prayer and accept Your love. Truly, with You I have hope of victory because only You have the best solution for any of my situations. In the name of Jesus – Amen!
