Dear reader, this quote from Mother Teresa always addresses my heart and touches every string of it. It always makes me think about the truthfulness of my actions and words and their essence. Yes, to love it is hard and I still have a way to go.
Mother Teresa has said that,
Duty without love makes you annoyed,
Liability without love makes you ruthless,
Truth without love makes you cruel,
Kindness without love makes you hypocritical,
Wisdom without love makes you cruel,
Honor without love makes arrogant,
Property without love makes you stingy,
Faith without love makes it fanatical,
Life without love is meaningless,
But life in love brings happiness and joy.
In this month’s articles you are invited not only to meet God but also indulge in His immense love, both receiving and passing it on. Our goal is the same to draw closer to God. Who is God? Love! Inexhaustible, complete, unconditional love. It is this love that pervades all the articles of this month, so I invite you to open your heart and grasp the love of God through these articles! God has also called us to love and not only with our feelings but also with our actions because love is an action. That is why I invite you to choose to love. Not always we can choose our feelings, but we can choose our actions! For this reason, I invite you to choose to love yourself and your neighbor.
If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God. And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus. We love because he first loved us. / 1 John 4:15-17,19 NIV /
